Karachi, August 25, 2014 (PPI-OT): A trade delegation under the leadership of Zakaria Usman, President FPCCI has left for the visit of South Korea and Philippine. The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) constituted this delegation with close collaboration of Pakistan Embassy in Korea and Philippine which includes Mian Mehmood, Mazhar Ali Nasir and Ismail Suttar Vice Presidents of FPCCI and members of Pak-Korea and Pak-Philippine Business Councils of FPCCI.
During the stay in Korea the delegation will meet the office bearers of Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Korea Importers Association (KOIMA) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA). The Pakistan Embassy has also arranged Business to Business Meetings for the delegates with the close cooperation of Korea CCI and KOIMA. The Maeil Economic Daily, Korea Post and Korea Herald will also conduct special interviews of the President FPCCI.
The FPCCI’s trade delegation will leave for to Philippine from Seoul on 28th August where the delegation will meet the members of Philippine CCI, MMCCI and the government functionaries. The delegation will also attend a Business Forum and B2B meetings with Industry Associations. During stay in Philippine the delegation will also attend Joint Business Council (JBC) Meeting between FPCCI’s Pakistan Philippine and PCCI’s Philippine Pakistan Business Councils.
Before leaving to Korea and Philippine the Zakaria Usman, President FPCCI stated that after a long-time the trade delegation have been made to Korea and Philippine. He further said that the delegation will highlight the investment opportunity in Pakistan encourage the leading companies of both countries for joint ventures in various sectors.
