Islamabad, June 14, 2013 (PPI-OT): Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President, SAARC Chamber of commerce and Industry has said that the Federal finance minster Ishaq Dar has ensured him to consult leaders of business community and rectify anomalies if any in the budget 2013-14.
Talking to newsmen, he said that the finance minister further assured that he well soon hold a meeting with the leadership of FPCCI in Islamabad and discuss issues .
He expressed his confidence that the PML-N government will take all possible measures to bring country out of economic crises and keep the wheels of industry mining in the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
He said it was vision of Nawaz Shartif to make Pakistan economic tiger of Asia and expressed hope that he will succeed in his mission.
Malik suggested that the government should establish an industrial board and an advisory consul in the patron of Turkey and Indonesia .
The advisory consul comprises of Federal Finance Minister, representative of business community and journalist. The advisory board should work on economic issues and policy making.
He said that the country facing serious economic challenges and it need comprehensive policies to overcome these challenges.
He further said that he will take up issue of advisory consul and industrial board in Islamabad meeting. Referring to one percent increase in sales tax, he said the incase `will have no impact on businesses, industries and shopkeepers. It will have direct impact on consumers as businesses community will pass it on the end consumer.
He said announcement of Rs 10,000 stipend for educated youth during traning, reduction of Prime minister House expenses and abolition of secrete funds of ministers are appreciable.
