First batch of Hajjis returns occupied Kashmir

Srinagar, October 12, 2014 (PPI-OT): The first batch of 272 Hajj pilgrims from occupied Kashmir returned from Saudi Arabia after performing the pilgrimage.

The puppet Chief Minister of the territory, Omar Abdullah received the pilgrims at the Srinagar Airport and greeted them for performing the religious duty.

Overall, 7,011 pilgrims from the occupied territory had gone to Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj, of which five passed away during their stay there.
