Islamabad: The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Mr. Dashgin Shikarov, called on the Foreign Minister, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, this morning. He conveyed greetings on behalf of the Azeri leadership for the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister and the Ambassador discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest including exchange of high level visits between the two countries, the forthcoming 5th Session of Pakistan-Azerbaijan Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), bilateral trade, and cooperation in the energy and agricultural sectors.
The two sides also reiterated their mutual support and principled positions on Jammu and Kashmir dispute and the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
