Funeral in absentia held for martyred Yasin Ittoo

Srinagar, January 10, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement held funeral prayers in absentia for martyred Yasin Ittoo at Nagam in Chadoora. Hundreds of people attended the funeral prayers in absentia and paid tributes to him. Molvi Abdul Rashid along with a delegation led the funeral prayers. Later, participants raised high pitched pro-freedom and pro-Islam slogans.

The JKSM Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt, in his message also paid glowing tributes to the martyr. He wowed to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion. He added that martyrs of Kashmir had rendered priceless sacrifices for the movement. He urged Pakistan and India to involve pro-freedom leadership in the ongoing talks to make the process result-oriented.
