The federal government is spending about four billion rupees on promotion of education in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
According to FATA secretariat, fifty-nine projects in education sector have been initiated out of which thirty-five have been completed.
It includes up-gradation of primary, middle and high schools, provision of clean drinking water, boundary walls, furniture, stationery and playgrounds in the tribal belt.
The government is also taking concrete steps for early completion of all education schemes.
