Karachi, May 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): Literary society of Arts council of Pakistan Karachi hosted the session of book launching ceremony of Ishrat Afreen’s “Zard Patton Ka Ban” on May 15th , 2018 where the renown poets and critics such as Zehra Nigah, Prof. Saher Ansari, Dr. Peerzada Qasim, Aqeel Abbas Jaffri, Fazil Jameeli and Asif Farrukhi were the part of occasion.
The session was chaired by the well-known and poetess odd Urdu literature Zehra Nigah who in her address said that Ishrat has made education an important topic in his poetry and emphasized on the subjects that are very important about today’s woman, she also shared few notes of Ishrat’s poetry. Sharing his views about Ishrat Afreen’s book, famous critic and poet Saher Ansari said that she avoided the element of romanticism in her poetries and utilized the hardship of life which makes her poetry a lot more different from other poets.
Observational figure Dr. Pirzada Qasim said that Ishrat’s poetry highlight the observatory factors and the element of concerns. Asif Farrukhi said that Ishrat’s poetry shows the development in our society. Aqeel Abbas Jaffri said that a better future is being hope from the works of Ishrat Afreen. Fazil Jameeli said that Ishrat has made her own place with the works of amazing poetry. During the session, the writer of book also shared her words as she further presented her poetry in the session. She also presented the guest with her book at the end of the session.
