Karachi, August 12, 2018 (PPI-OT): All the six DMCs have launched a campaign against illegal cattle markets in various parts of the city. The DMC central chairman Rehan Hashmi visited Tahir Villa at Gulberg and removed illegal cattle market with the help of district administration. Hashmi talking to media during the operation said such haphazard cattle markets were causing hurdles in smooth flow of traffic due to which traffic mess is reported daily.
He said there are already encroachments all over the city and due to these illegal cattle markets there was a fear of Congo virus and many other deadly diseases. Issued instructions on the spot that illegal cattle markets be not allowed. These animals also cause huge loss to parks and as district central was already facing acute water shortage and funds to DMC central was negligible due to this reason performance of DMC central wad badly affected.
Rehan Hashmi has once again appealed to coming Sindh Chief Minister to provide funds. The battered roads in DMC are in bad shape and funds are badly needed for the carpeting of roads. He has also appealed to Mayor Karachi to make speedy arrangements for the removal of encroachments before Eid ul Azha.
