Indian police thrash photojournalists in Pulwama

Srinagar, June 14, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian police, today, thrashed two photojournalists in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Reports said that the photojournalists were performing their professional duty when the men in uniform stopped and thrashed them. They said Indian forces also tried to damage their cameras.

Meanwhile, Kashmir Press Club in a statement in Srinagar strongly condemned the assault and seizure of cameras of photojournalists in Pulwama. Demanding action against the involved police personnel, the KPC reiterated its concern about difficulties being faced by journalists working in occupied Kashmir.
