Islamabad, July 03, 2020 (PPI-OT): Synoptic Situation

Seasonal Low lies over northeast Balochistan. Weak moist currents are penetrating central and southern parts of the country and likely to strengthen during next 24 hours. A fresh westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country from Saturday.

Very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Kashmir during evening/night.

Saturday

Very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Meanwhile, heavy rains are also expected at some places in Kashmir and Northeast Punjab.

Past 24-Hour Weather

Hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, light rain occurred in Bagrote.

Yesterday’s Highest Maximum Temperature’s (°C): Jacobabad, Dadu 47°C, Nokkundi, Larkana, Mohenjodaro and Sibbi 46°C.
