Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that there is no shortage of food items in the country but effective measures would be continued to maintain stability in the prices of essential commodities especially flour and wheat.
He was chairing a meeting regarding prices of essential commodities in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
The Prime Minister has directed the Minister for National Food and Security to formulate a strategy for availability of flour at reasonable price in collaboration with the provincial governments, representatives of flour mills association and other departments concerned.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also appreciated the services of Tiger Force volunteers in this regard.
