Srinagar, June 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani strongly has denounced the desecration of body of the youth, Muhammad Abbas, who was martyred by Indian troops in Yach Goos village of Pulwama, recently.
Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said, “Instead of handing over his body to his family members, the armed forces out of vengeance torched it and insulted the religious sentiments of the Muslims.”
“The forces splashed petrol over the residential house and orchard of local villager Abdul Ahad Wani and set it on fire. They without any justification turned the property worth millions into ashes,” he added.
The veteran leader said that the troops had unleashed a reign of terror in the district. He urged human rights organizations to investigate the matter and asked to them send teams to these villages to assess the losses and scale of atrocities unleashed by the Indian troops.
