Gilani’s house arrest part of plan to kill him slowly

Srinagar, January 02, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the forum patronized by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, has strongly denounced the continued illegal detention of the octogenarian leader. The forum spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that this house detention had no constitutional and moral justification.

He said that the continued house arrest of Syed Ali Gilani was badly affecting the health of the veteran leader and he was often complaining of swelling and acute pain in his legs and feet. “It is basically part of a wicked plan to kill him slowly and gradually so that it will look like a natural death. Mufti Sayeed and Omer Abdullah-like people have sold their conscience at the hands of their masters in Delhi so they obey every order with closed eyes,” he added.
