Government sincerely pursuing path of dialogue: Interior Minister

Islamabad, February 10, 2014 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said the government is sincerely pursuing the path of dialogue and wishes to see this process a success.

The Minister said this while talking to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Engineer Shaukatullah, who met him here today. The meeting discussed matters relating to the dialogue process between government and the Taliban with particular reference to the visit of the Taliban Committee to North Waziristan yesterday.

Governor KP said that though a difficult process, yet a positive start has been made through the initial contacts. He said all tiers of government are geared towards making the process a success.
