Govt making sincere efforts to address issues of backward segments: NA Speaker

Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser has said that government is making sincere efforts to address long standing core issues of backward segments in the country.

He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Swabi Electronic and Print Media Association in Swabi today (Tuesday).

The Speaker National Assembly said the government has announced mega projects for development of the country particularly the remote areas of Balochistan and merged districts aiming their uplift and bringing them into national mainstream.

He said these projects would help change socio-economic conditions of people besides creating employment opportunities for them.
