Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said that the government took timely and wise steps to successfuly cope with the challenge of Covid-19.
Addressing the 23rd conference titled “Sustainable Development during COVID-19” through video link on Thursday, he said a large number of world’s population has been affected by this epidemic.
He said, in the first wave of this epidemic, we adopted smart lockdown policy across the country.
He said provision of medical equipment and medicines to hospitals on emergency basis was a major challenge for the government and it met this task through a coordinated strategy.
