GP Vijay Kumar unveils plot to attach vehicles, buildings, houses in IIOJK

Srinagar, March 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): In an attempt to deprive Kashmiri people of their ancestral property on one pretext or another, Indian authorities on Sunday announced to attach the property, whether be that a vehicle, building or a house, of pro-freedom people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The announcement was made by Additional Director General of Indian Police (ADGP), Vijay Kumar in Srinagar on Sunday.

He also termed a “mistake” for providing a security cover and bulletproof vehicle to a conman from Gujrat who posed as Additional Director (Strategy and Operations) of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and was taking a Z-plus security cover from the Police in IIOJK, a bulletproof Mahindra Scorpio SUV, official accommodation in a five-star hotel and much more. “How this mistake has happened is being investigated by the police,” the Police chief, Kashmir, while speaking to media persons here at Srinagar said, adding that intelligence agencies alerted the police about an impostor posing as a PMO official.

After verifying his background, a team led by a senior IPS officer raided a hotel and arrested the Conman from Gujrat and recovered fake visiting cards from him,” he said. The ADGP also added that a team of Gujarat Police is also joining the investigation. The ADGP said that strict action will be taken against those officers who ordered for providing security to the Conman.
