Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan says imposition of Governor Rule in Occupied Kashmir for the eighth time in four decades is evidence of India's failed Kashmir policy.

He was talking to Senior Minister Chaudhary Tariq Farooq at Kashmir House in Islamabad today (Thursday).

Sardar Masood said imposition of Governor Rule in Occupied valley would lead to an exponential increase in human right violations in the occupied territory.

Denouncing the killings of three Kashmiri youth during so called search operations in Pulwama, he said such barbaric acts will in no way dampen the just freedom struggle of the Kashmiris.

Sardar Masood Khan said sustainable peace in the region will only be possible through implementation of UN Security Council resolutions and not through India's use of brute force in Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed the progress relating to numerous projects specifically the upgradation and construction of roads in Azad Kashmir.

The AJK President emphasized timely completion of all such projects according to international construction standards.
