Horticulture Society of Defence Authority Degree College for Men won the Garden Competition – 2012 for the 3rd consecutive year at the 61st Pakistan Flower Show

Karachi: The Horticulture Society of Defence Authority Degree College for Men won the Garden Competition – 2012 for the 3rd consecutive year at the 61st Pakistan Flower Show, organized by Pakistan Horticulture Society recently at Sea view Public Park.

The Principal of the College, Commodore (R) Imran Ansari said that the institution believes in environmental beautification and the concepts of ‘go-green’ through horticulture. He said that the college had a dedicated team of students, who were the member of horticulture society of the college.

He added that developing aesthetics and love for nature was an important ingredient of personality development and part of education.

This year, like in the past the competition was open for all schools and colleges of the metropolis. All the three institution of DHA namely Defence Authority Degree College for Men, Defence Authority College For Women Phase-VII (Ext) and Defence Authority Beach view School won the first three prizes of the competition respectively.
