Karachi, October 03, 2012 (PPI-OT): Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed concessionary duty on import of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) kits and equipment after approval of ECC which has been lowered to 10% which was at 25% earlier.
According to Alfalah Securities Limited, FBR has allowed lower duty on import of LPG pumps, control panels, liquefied petroleum gas dispensers and liquefied petroleum gas vehicles conversion kits. However, importers are allowed to avail the concession only on those models or brands which are approved by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and notified by the FBR.
