Important vacant posts in Sindh Health Department to be filled soon: Jam Mehtab

Karachi, January 28, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Thursday took serious notice of vacant post of additional secretary development and others important posts in Health Department, directed secretary health to prepare a summary for filling of these posts and to submit Chief Minister Office at earliest so that eligible and competent officers may be posted for smooth running of official work.

This he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office. He said that due to non filling of important posts the official work was affected and causing delay in completion of development works as well. Meanwhile, Jam Mehtab directed the health department and information science and technology development to immediately update website of department. On this occasion, he directed Deputy Director / Project Director Akhtar Hussain Baloch to update website so that the people might know what the Health Department was doing for the people of Sindh.

He said it is an era of Information Technology and social media and there is no concept of awareness without them. He also directed Special Secretary Health Aleem Lashari to get follow-up of Health Department summaries in CM House because their timely approval could help in competition of important development works. He said that special attention should be given to projects such as Dengue, Hepatitis, Naegleria and vertical projects and comprehensive awareness be provided to the people in this regard.
