India ready to revisit stand on AFSPA revocation

Srinagar, June 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the puppet Home Minister, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, has claimed that Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, has assured the puppet Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, of revisiting New Delhi’s stand on revoking the draconian Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from certain areas of the territory.

Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo in a media interview in Srinagar said that during the recent Chief Ministers’ conference, Omar Abdullah raised issues pertaining to the lifting of the AFSPA and renewed his demand on the issue. “Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, not only acknowledged the concerns of CM, but was optimistic regarding reviewing of the interlocutors’ report,” he claimed.
