Indian commandos, gunship helicopters join Kupwara operation

Srinagar, November 18, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops were joined by commandos, gunship helicopters in violent military operations in Kupwara district. The gunship helicopters and commandos were used after an Indian army’s Colonel Santosh Mahadik was killed and four other personnel were injured in clash with Mujahideen at Manigah area of Kupwara district yesterday. The forces along with more para commandos, other ground forces extended operation at Kalaroos, Hyhama and Trumnard areas of the district.
