Indian police involve brother of martyred youth in fake case

Srinagar, June 09, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the family members of a youth, Muhammad Abbas Nengroo, who was recently martyred by Indian troops, have said that Indian police have implicated his brother in a fake case.

Abdul Razzaq Nengroo, the father of martyred Muhammad Abbas, talking to media men in Pulwama said that the police had arrested his other son, Ashiq Hussain, after the killing of an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) on charges of conspiring in the murder.

“When the ASI was killed in Pulwama, my son was in Srinagar,” he said, adding that the police called Ashiq after the Pulwama incident and later lodged him at the Srinagar central jail after implicating him in the murder case.
