India’s dreaded NIA attaches property of martyr Bashir Ahmad Peer

Srinagar, March 04, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with Indian paramilitary forces and police personnel has attached the ancestral property of a martyr Hurriyet activist, Bashir Ahmad Peer alias Imtiyaz Alam, in Kupwara district.

 

The immovable property land measuring 1 Kanal 13 marlas under Survey Numbers 606 min, 619 min and 620 min situated at Estate Batpora, Tehsil Kralpora in Kupwara was attached under black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the NIA order reads.

 

The NIA claimed that the slain Bashir Ahmad Peer of Kralpora Kupwara was a commander of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen. The dreaded agency is also attaching properties of people of IIOJK who are demanding their right to self-determination guaranteed by the United Nations through its several resolutions.

 

Bashir Ahmad Peer alias Imtiyaz Alam was martyred in an attack on February 20 as he left the masjid after Maghrib prayers in Rawalpindi. Earlier, the NIA also attached properties of prominent liberation leader, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar in Nowhatta area of Srinagar and Hurriyat activist Basit Ahmad Reshi in Sopore town of Baramulla district.
