Provincial Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal chaired a meeting in Lahore to review the matters pertaining to colonization, development and provision of necessary infrastructure in industrial units being managed by Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company.
The meeting also discussed allotment and sale policy of plots for industrial units at Quaid-e-Azam Business Park.
Speaking on this occasion, Aslam Iqbal directed to expedite the development work adding that investors should be provided with every possible facility for setting up industrial units.
He said Industrial development will help in poverty alleviation while Quaid-e-Azam Business Park in Sheikhupura will provide different job opportunities to more than 5 lakh youth.
He also announced Bhalwal Industrial Estate will be inaugurated soon and Pakistan’s largest industrial estate is being established at Layyah-Muzaffargarh road.
