Industrialists of Karachi and all other Associations unanimously approve establishment of Chamber of Industry Karachi

Karachi, October 21, 2013 (PPI-OT): Industrialists of Karachi and all other Associations have unanimously approved the establishment of Chamber of Industry Karachi( CIK ) for which 11 members committee is formed. This committee will play its role for representation of industries in the light of legal formalities throughout the country.

This is said by Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, during a meeting at his residence yesterday. President KATI, Syed Farukh Mazhar, Former Chairman SITE Association Dr.Arshad Vohra, Patron-in-Chief North Karachi Association, Noor Ahmed Khan, Chairman SITE Superhighway Javed Ali Ghori, President All Karachi Industrial Alliance Mian Zahid Hussain, Muneer Sultan, Mehtabuddin Chawla, Dr.Qaisar Waheed, Chairmen and representatives of Landhi and Federal B.Area Associations were present at this occasion.

Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan has said that Chamber of Industries is initiated from Karachi as Karachi is economic hub of Pakistan and provides 67% revenue. It will be established by sitting with the representative of Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, Director General Trade.

He further said that the aim of establishing Chamber of Industry is not confronted with Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Federation of Pakistan of Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Its aim is to point out the issues being faced by industrial sectors.

He said that industries of the country were hanging in the air but now it is standing on the ground. Representatives of Korangi, Landhi, Federal B.Area, North Karachi, SITE Superhighway, SITE industrial areas of Karachi have formed Chamber of Industry Karachi for the revival of the economy of Pakistan.
