Islamabad, November 30, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, Pervaiz Rashid has congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the CPNE.
In a message to the President CPNE, Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Senior Vice President, Mr. Ilyas Shakir, Secretary General, Dr. Jabbar Khattak, Vice President, Tahir Farooq, Vice President (Baluchistan) Siddique Baloch, Vice President (Punjab) Awais Khushnood and other office bearers, the Minister expressed the hope that the new leadership of CPNE would contribute effectively towards development of print media in the country.
He said the government stands committed to ensuring freedom of expression and independence of press and it would welcome support from the CPNE towards this end.
The Principal Information Officer, Mr. Imran Gardezi here Saturday also congratulated the newly elected President, CPNE and Chief Editor, Daily Pakistan, Lahore Mr. Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami and other office bearers on their election.
He expressed the confidence that under the able guidance of the newly elected CPNE leadership, print media would make new strides and play its significant role as the fourth pillar of the state.
