Karachi, June 23, 2013 (PPI-OT): Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) participated in International Education Expo held at Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Islamabad recently.
Expo’s offer a great opportunity to cater needs of the serious and career conscious students. Students are quite aware of their choices but are perplexed with multiple options and wish to be helped with finding out which one suits them.
ICAP team making its presence and Stall was set up, in education expo displaying literature on the profession of CA, while the representatives of ICAP were also present to answer queries from visitors.
Students from almost all public and private Schools and colleges visited the expo. Parents were also seen who come along with their children for information regarding their careers. They were of the view that in the modern day world of specialization and super specializations, Pakistani students were handicapped due to a very few competent sources for career counseling. Around 3000 students came in groups headed by their parents, counselors and teachers at ICAP stalls for getting the information about the stream of Chartered Accountancy.
About 80 leading education institutes participated in the event around all the cities from Pakistan .Such types of exhibitions give Pakistani students an excellent opportunity to view the career choices for pursuing education.
This platform provided an opportunity to interact with quality students, visiting the exhibition. It was observed that visitors shown a very keen interest in the ICAP stall among others stalls from various institutes in the expo and they were frequently visiting the ICAP stall and probing about the profession of Chartered Accountancy.
On the closing day, a souvenir distribution ceremony was also held in which Managing Director of Jang Media Group gave away shield to the ICAP Team.
