Iraq rocket attack: Air base hosting US-led coalition forces targeted

A military base in Al Anbar province of Iraq where coalition troops are stationed, has come under rocket attack.

Coalition spokesman Col. Wayne Marotto said 10 rockets were fired on the Ayan al-Asad Airbase.

A US contractor, reportedly died of an apparent heart attack during the attack.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned to attack at a time and manner of its choosing in response to the rocket attack.
