Islamabad, May 25, 2013 (PPI-OT): Mr. Arif Mahmud Khan, Secretary Islamabad Club visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) for having a meeting with business leaders of Federal Capital.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Zafar Bakhtawari, President ICCI said ICCI is playing a key and vital role in improving the image of Islamabad by involving many areas of life other than the trade and economic activities.
He said that various organizations have given ICCI representation on their Board of Management because the business community is vital and can play a positive role for making the organizations and institutions to be run in a professional way.
Mr.Bakhtawari was of the view that Islamabad Club is one of the prestigious platforms that provide all necessary facilities of food and entertainment, therefore, he demanded representation of a person from Islamabad Chamber on the Board of Directors of Islamabad Club.
He further said that representation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the Board of Islamabad Club will definitely contribute in uplifting and improving the image of the prestigious organization like Islamabad Club.
ICCI President also appreciated the efforts of Islamabad Club for providing quality services and facilities to its members and customers including health and sports, fun and recreation, organization of meetings and events etc.
Mr. Arif Mahmud Khan, Secretary Islamabad Club assured that he would convey all the demands of Islamabad Chamber to Administrators of Islamabad Club as well as informed the meeting that we have been stressing for observance of club rules to our honourable members in order to maintain the standard that exists.
He said that management of Islamabad Club is grateful to private sector and other members who do cooperate on all accounts and we are confident that our members will continue to maintain the congenial environment at the club.
