JKLF leaders arrested during election boycott campaign

Srinagar, April 13, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leaders conducted the election boycott campaign in different areas of Srinagar, today. The JKLF leaders, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Bashir Kashmiri, Ghulam Muhammad Dar and Muhammad Afzal Sheikh on the occasion informed the people about the harmful effects of casting votes during the so-called elections on the ongoing liberation movement.

They also distributed pamphlets regarding the election boycott among the people. Later, Indian police arrested the leaders from Shri Bhat Mohallah and lodged them in Zadibal Police Station. The JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement condemned the arrest of party leaders.
