Srinagar, December 28, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) is organising a seminar “Prisoners of Kashmir and our responsibilities” on Sunday to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Professor Abdul Ahad Wani. Besides paying tributes to Shaheed Professor Abdul Ahad Wani, deliberations will be held on the plight, recent judgements and torture of Kashmiri prisoners, languishing in various jails of India and the occupied territory. Various scholars, intellectuals and leaders will attended the seminar.
A JKLF spokesman quoting party Chairman, Muhmamad Yasin Malik, said that Professor Abdul Ahad Wani was a leader who with his comprehension and diplomatic wisdom gave a new light to the liberation struggle. “He remained steadfast in the movement and even sacrificed his life in the way of commitment,” he added.
