Judicial Commission on Syed Saleem Shehzad calls upon General Public to provide any Relevant Information

Islamabad: Secretary of the Judicial Commission on Syed Saleem Shehzad has called upon the general public to provide any relevant information and/or material one may have that could help with the murder investigation.

“If anyone from the general public, media, civil society, family, friends and acquaintances of slain journalist Syed Saleem Shehzad has any information and/or material relevant to his abduction and murder, they should send it to Federal Secretary Information and Broadcasting and Secretary of the Judicial Commission, Mr. Taimur Azmat Osman,” said a government spokesperson in a statement issued here today.

Any information and/or material related to Syed Saleem Shehzad must be accompanied by a statement in the written form, duly verified, that affirms the information/material’s authenticity as well as responsibility of the claimant, said the statement.

Furthermore, all such information/material must be submitted at the Commission Secretariat, Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) Headquarters, Islamabad, by 5th July 2011, said the statement.
