Karachi Port Trust Donates Forty Lac Rupees For The Lever Transplant Of Momina Saeed

Karachi: In continuation to the announcement made earlier by the Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Khan Ghauri and the KPT administration for providing sustenance to Momina Saeed, 4 ½ years aged daughter of Saeed Ahmed Rajput, suffering from chronic lever disease; the officers and employees of Karachi Port Trust has contributed Rs4 million for lever transplant which at present is not available in Pakistan. The sustenance provided by the officers and employees of KPT will enable Saeed Ahmed Rajput to seek cure for his daughter from abroad.

The Chairman KPT Muhammad Aslam Hayat accompanying the Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Babar Khan Ghauri has presented a cheque today to Saeed Ahmed Rajput, the father of sweet and innocent daughter Momina Saeed.

The donation became possible due to collective efforts of all the officers and employees of KPT towards the cause. KPT administration which has earlier on many occasions contributed towards social welfare causes has again stood firm the grounds to keep the hopes alive of the ill fated family. KPT has always welcomed the social initiatives and it is in this regard the port had earlier contributed hefty amounts on the infrastructure build up of the city along with City District Government Karachi. Besides this, KPT is also making jetties for the Baba and Bhit Island.
