Kashmiri students develop ‘save Kashmir’ Android App

Srinagar, October 12, 2014 (PPI-OT): Kashmiri students of Aryans Group of Colleges at Chandigarh in the Indian state of Punjab, have developed a unique Android App which gives all information at one platform about the recent floods in occupied Kashmir. Aryans Group of Colleges in a statement said that christened as “Save Kashmir” the App was launched by Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education Minister, Punjab (India), and Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, was also present on the occasion.

Developed by 5 Kashmiri students, the App contains each and every information about floods in the occupied territory including the list of people lost, list of deaths, donation links, government help lines, affected people and areas, location of relief camps, statement said.
