‘Kashmiris offering sacrifices for Kashmir resolution’

Srinagar, January 11, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leaders, Zafar Akbar Butt and Syed Bashir Andrabi, have said that the people of Kashmir are rendering sacrifices for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute and not for economic packages.

Zafar Akbar Butt, Syed Bashir Andrabi along with other Hurriyet leaders and activists visited Dogripora Awantipora area of Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the family of a youth, Wasim Ahmad, who was recently martyred by Indian troops.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, the APHC leaders paid glowing tributes to Wasim Ahmad and other martyrs including Suhail Faisal, Skendar Azam, Sheikh Umar, Engineer Sajad and Engineer Saifullah and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the mission of Kashmiri martyrs till complete success.

Zafar Akbar Butt and Syed Bashir Andrabi said that Kashmir dispute being a nuclear flashpoint in South Asia had endangered the peace of the region so the international community should come forward and play its role in resolving it according to the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.On the occasion, people raised high-pitched anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.
