Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry holding seminar on Achieving Sustainable Economy by fully benefiting from China on September 4

Lahore, September 01, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding a seminar on “Achieving Sustainable Economy by fully benefiting from China” on September 4 at its premises.

The very objective is to draw a roadmap for a sustainable economy by 2017 through SME exports to China, Relocation of SME from China and joint ventures with local companies, Transfer of technology to make the SME competitive, Human resource development (On the job training) and industrial workers’ training and the owners’ training. Pakistani and Chinese experts will speak on the occasion.

Pakistan has the ability to be on growth path and what is required is linking up the Pakistani private sector with Chinese market and bridging the Chinese private sector with Pakistan market. China had made $ 531 billion direct overseas investment by end of 2012with an annual investment target of $ 50 billion by 2015. China has $ 3.5 Trillion reserves.

A sustainable economy can be achieved by opening the gateway of Exports to China, Energy solution (5 to 50 MW) on self-help basis in joint venture with Chinese and Academia – industry – China triangle for Transfer of technology in particular in Energy and SME sector.
