Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Naat Competition: Usman Nawaz takes first position

Lahore, September 03, 2013 (PPI-OT): Muhammad Usman Nawaz took first position in the First LCCI Naat Competition while second and third positions went to Hassan Raza Sialwi and Muhammad Abu Bakar respectively. The Naat competition was organized in connection with the Lahore Shopping Festival 2013.

MNA Pirzada Syed Imran Ahmad Shah was the chief Guest while LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar, Senior Vice President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, Executive Committee Members Kashif Anwar, Zeeshan Khalil and Waqar Ahamd Mian graced the function as special guests. Hafiz Ajwad Obaid of Jamia Ashrafia, Qari Mohammad Rafiq Naqshbandi of Jamia Naeemia, Hafiz Mehbood Ahmed Hamdani and Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi were the Chief Judges for Lahore Shopping Festival Naat Competition.

Speaking on the occasion, MNA Pirzada Syed Imran Ahmad Shah said that the government would continue to support all LCCI initiatives aimed at expediting economic activities in the country. He said that the Lahore Shopping Festival is a good event that would help encourage other chambers of commerce as well to start such activities to ensure participation of masses.

In his address, the LCCI President Farooq Iftikhar said that the since the Naat Competion met a marvelous success therefore the next year it would be arranged at a bigger level so that more and more people could participate in it.
