Law Minister chairs meeting of Senior Officials of the Ministry

Islamabad, June 12, 2013 (PPI-OT): Federal Law Minister, Zahid Hamid chaired the meeting of senior officials here at Ministry of Law and Justice. Senior officials briefed the Minister about the working of different wings of the Ministry.

Speaking on the occasion, Law Minister said that in pursuance of the orders of the Prime Minister strict austerity measures should be adopted and Ministry must cut down its expenses to minimum 30 percent. He also emphasized on the expeditious disposal of official work and advised the officials to dispose of pending work on priority basis.

Likewise, he also ordered to complete the digitization of remaining volumes of Pakistan code within six months so that their online version could be uploaded on the official website of Law Ministry for public use.
