Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar says the government, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, is doing its best to ensure minority rights in the country.
Addressing a Sikh Muslim Friendship seminar in Lahore, he said he has developed a close bond with the Sikhs across the globe over the years and is proud of serving the Sikh community in the province.
The Governor said no country can progress without active economic role of its minorities.
He said the government is committed to preserve the culture and religious sites of the Sikhs in the country, adding that construction of Kartarpur Corridor is a proof of Sikh Muslim Friendship.
