Karachi, February 02, 2014 (PPI-OT): KMC Administrator Karachi Rauf Akhtar Farooqui said all possible measures will be taken for improving the condition of Dockyard Road. This would provide convenience to people in their travel to dockyard and other adjoining areas.
He said this while talking to M.D of Dockyard Commodore Sajid Iqbal Hussain who called on him in his office to discuss the matters relating to improvement of transportation, communication and infrastructure development in the dockyard area. Director General Engineering Niaz Ahmed Soomro, Sr. Director Municipal Services Masood Alam, Sr. Director HRM Shoaib Waqar and other officers also attended the meeting.
Administrator Karachi said we need to own our city, better results could be achieved if every organization in the city works for the betterment and progress of Karachi. He said KMC was performing development works in various parts of the city which were aimed at providing better municipal facilities to citizens. All possible efforts will be made to improve the condition of dockyard road and other roads in the city.
