Martyrs centre-stage Kashmir dispute: Shabbir Shah

Srinagar, June 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, has said that the Kashmiri martyrs have centre-staged the Kashmir dispute at the international level and their sacrifices will definitely bring positive results soon.

Shabbir Ahmed Shah along with APHC leader, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, and Hurriyet activists went to Littar area of Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the family of a youth, Sajjad Ahmed, who was recently martyred by Indian troops.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that it was due to the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs that the international pressure was increasing on India to settle the lingering dispute for ensuring permanent peace in South Asia.

Paying glowing tributes to Sajjad and other martyrs, he maintained that their mission would be accomplished at all costs. Muhammad Yousuf Naqash also addressed the gathering.

Later, Indian police arrested Shabbir Shah and Yousuf Naqash when they left for Nowpora area of Pulwama to meet the family members of another youth recently killed by the troops. They were lodged at Lassi Pora Police Station.
