Karachi is in the grip of heat wave today with temperature expected to rise above 40 degree centigrade.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, sea-breeze in the city has stopped which is the reason of heat wave and it is expected to last till tomorrow.
Meanwhile, medical experts have asked people to stay indoors to avoid effects of heat wave.
People have also been advised to consume as much water and fluids, preferably ORS to stay hydrated, wear light colour clothes and try to stay in shade if they do have to go outside.
