Saudi Arabia delivers 50 tons of dates to South Sudan

Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali bin Hassan Jafar on Wednesday launched the delivery of 50 tons of dates to the World Food Program (WFP) in South Sudan from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief).

The humanitarian initiative came in accordance with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to allocate 4,000 tons of dates to the WFP. The shipment of dates, allocated for school students in a number of South Sudan districts, was delivered in the presence of the Director of Public Education in Juba and the Head of WFP's Country Office in South Sudan.
