Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has stressed on implementation of standard operating procedures to prevent spread of coronavirus in the country.
Chairing a meeting at National Command and Operating Center in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said provinces should play their role to ensure implementation of the SOPs so that health of people is protected.
The Minister said lockdown has been relaxed to facilitate people but the threat of spread of the pandemic persists.
He said protocol about industrial and construction sectors and comprehensive SOPs have been devised for all the fields, including markets. He said the SOPs have been shared with the provinces.
