Karachi, April 11, 2014 (PPI-OT): A delegation of the Pakistan Hardware Merchants Association led by Circle Chairman (Sindh/Balochistan), Mr. Tariq Yunus met with the Mr. S.M Muneer, Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan at Karachi.
The most prominent traders from the industry were represented who had detailed discussion with the CE regarding various issues related to the trade of hardware equipment in Pakistan. Problems that surfaced were regarding the procedural requirements of establishing and operating a business and import related limitations and duty structure.
The members emphasized on the role government and its relevant facilitation agencies such as TDAP for enhancing business activity in the country. Special recommendations for market exploratory visits were also mentioned.
The CE assured the delegation of his personal commitment toward their trade and to business community in general. He welcomed the members of the business community to come forth and discuss their problems and issues in future.
