Member of National Assembly, Riaz Fatyana calls on Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani

Islamabad: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the policy of reconciliation and consultation being pursued by the Government in dealing with major issues of national importance has been a success and a major contribution in the democratic culture of the country. He added that the policy would be carried forward for the overall development and progress as well as handling the major challenges to the country.

The Prime Minister was talking to MNA, Mr. Riaz Fatyana who called on him at PM’s House here this afternoon.

Talking about the coordination and consultation among the coalition partners, the Prime Minister said that it has played a major role in formulation of polices for good governance and public welfare. He added that all the coalition partners have been taken on board and their suggestions given due consideration in the budget formulation process.

Regarding the development projects initiated by the government, the Prime Minister observed that the inputs of the public representatives have been a main source in their formulation. He said that personal monitoring by the public representatives of the development schemes in their respective areas has also been significant in their successful completion.

Mr. Riaz Fatyana apprised the Prime Minister about the status of ongoing development projects in his area.
