Minister excise takes notice of sale of fake / illicit liquor

Karachi, August 25, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla while , taking a serious notice of selling fake / illicit liquor in Sukkur, has directed the Director General Excise and Taxation to take strict action against those who are found involved in this heinous crime. In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said that he would not spare anyone who wanted to take the law into the hand and to play with human lives and an strict action would be taken against the drug-peddlers while already a drive was going on against them.

Meanwhile the Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla has also taken notice of the news item appeared in newspapers that some miscreants wanted to demolish temple Sitta Mata near Karachi Zoological Garden. He has written a letter to the I G Sindh Police to take necessary action in this regard and ensure the safety of the temple. He said that Sindh Government was committed to protect the rights of the minorities because the Constitution of Pakistan and PPP manifesto guaranteed the rights of the minorities.
