Mr. S.M Naveed has been elected as President of Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Lahore, September 30, 2020 (PPI-OT): The renowned business leader Mr. S.M Naveed, Director DIN Textile Mills Ltd has been elected unopposed as President Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI). Whereas Mr. Daud Ahmed and Mr. Khalid Raffique have been elected Senior Vice President and Vice President respectively. It was announced by the Election Commissioner at 6th Annual General Meeting of the PCJCCI held with the Outgoing President Mr. Zarak Khan and Senior Vice President Mr. Moazzam Ghurki in chair.

According to the election results for the year 2020-2021, the Executive Committee Members include Mr. Wang Zihai of Wow Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd and Mr. Zaki Aijaz of Roshan Packages Ltd. Mr. S.M Naveed, in his address, acknowledged the massive positive developments undergone in the president-ship of Mr. Zarak Khan. “It is due to the capable leadership of Mr. Zarak Khan that today PCJCCI has achieved high targets and now heading towards the bigger goals despite of Covid19.” Mr. S.M Naveed, strongly affirmed that due to his prominent position in the business community, he will utilize all his business relations and expertise for the progress of the chamber. He reiterated that he will represent PCJCCI in all business gatherings, forums and associations for promoting the cause of PCJCCI.

Mr. Daud Ahmed, Senior Vice President PCJCCI and Mr, Khalid Raffique, Vice President PCJCCI assured to continue the journey of service in the same pace as set by the outgoing president. It will rather, be raised up to the maximum level, they said and expressed determination to make the PCJCCI as a strong bridge for creating Special Economic Zones in Pakistan under next phase of CPEC. Earlier, the outgoing office bearers and Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, the Secretary General of PCJCCI, expressed warm wishes to the new president and EC members.
